Soft Glitch

This work came from letting go of my original plan of painting a more realistic portrait. By wiping back the paint and dripping solvent, I found a mood that felt more alive than the version I had in mind. The double eyes add an element of surprise and turn the portrait into something slightly off, inviting a second look by the viewer, while still feeling soft and subtle.
